COP 3 - Men's Further Developments

I came across a typeface called Downward Fall that I felt could be a really fun option for the men's packaging. Although it was a handwritten style, it had a more rough and scrawled element to it that I felt reflected masculinity nicely.

I started playing around with the typeface onto a square packaging shape, which gave me an idea of how it would function alongside the brand name and typography.

Playing around with layout and placement.

I was quite fond of using a cow's head on the men's packaging for the steak lasagne. Adding an actual animal into the design hinted at that primal food chain vibe that pronounced the masculinity really nicely.

I used a crayon style brush to draw the illustrations so that they matched well with the chosen typeface.

Adding a few extra elements onto the packaging to see how they would all work together.

I felt that the image worked best above the product name rather than underneath - the consumer looks at the image first, which makes the product less formal and more fun and quirky.
